First meeting with the then Israeli Ambassador to Singapore, Her Excellency, Yael Rubenstein.
During the height of the Israeli - Gaza conflict of 2014, SWIFT organised a peaceful rally in support of Israel.
During the rally, participants were handed out material and sheets for them to express support for Israel either through drawings or hand-written messages. The drawings and messages were then compiled and sent to the Israeli Ambassador in Singapore . One of the drawings was specially given to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The peaceful rally served to forge closer ties between Singapore and Israel, with whom we have close diplomatic relations. Click here to view images of the rally and messages from participants.

Celebrating Rosh Hashanah
Attended the Jewish New Year at the residence of the then Israeli Ambassador to Singapore, Her Excellency Mdm Yael Rubenstein. Besides getting to mingle with the local Jewish community , we also had the opportunity to meet with fellow Singaporeans who were also passionate about Israel . Among them was Pastor Gilbert of One New Man Asia and Bill Foo pictured here.

Celebrating Israel's 68th Independence Day
Minister of State, Ministry of Law and Ministry of Health, Ministry of Communications & Information, Mr Chee Hong Tat and Members of Parliament Mr Desmond Choo and Ms Tin Pei Lin were the guests of honor at the 68th Independence Day event. The Independence Day celebrations were held at the John Jacob Ballroom of The St Regis, Singapore. Special highlights of the evening included the national anthems of Singapore and Israel played by Israel Philharmonic Orchestra during their performance visit to Singapore, earlier in the year.
In the company of dear friends, Ambassador of Israel in Singapore, Yael Rubinstein raised a toast to the Presidents of Singapore & Israel with the Guest of Honor, Minister Chee Hong Tat.
SWIFT was delighted to be invited to celebrate this momentous occasion with Israel.
